Have any of you gotten scene/emo hair and regretted it?

I've been thinking about cutting my hair into a scene/emo style for a while, but I was wondering if anyone had done it and really, truly regretted it? I know that it will take a very long time to grow out if I hate it, and I want to be sure that I won't regret it. Quite honestly, I always regret my haircuts right after I get them, but usually I learn to like them.. it's just the change stuns me. This is a huge, drastic change. Here's kind of what I want:

Dark brown wavy/curlyish hair

I don't have a problem with dying it, I've dyed it black before, and I'll do it again.

So I want honest answers please, but I don't need people telling me that I'm just changing myself to look like everyone else, because I will have you know- That no one where I live looks like this. Not even close.

umm i haven't gotten a scene/emo cut (its not my style) but i have friends that have done it and have regretted it after wards. but, its really your decision. i agree that the style you want is very unique and cute if you're into emo/scene stuff. hope i helped =]

You shouldn't do your hair like that at all, most of that hair is pure extensions and you have to use half of the bottle in your hairspray to make your hair stand up like that, also a hair straightener and you have to keep on dying it black.

Dying hair=Dry's out hair

Straightening hair=Drys out hair, frizzes hair and damages it.

Hairspray=Drys out hair and makes it greasy.

that hair is so cute! i would deff cut it to be different, and that is. bring the picture to the hair place and have her make sure it will work with your face. and she can also modify it so it will work better for you. good luck!

well if that style fits you than you should defietly do it and you wont regret it by the way your hair is very pretty i love it

That's pretty! I'd personalise it by having a little less hair standing away from the head, %26amp; put some beautiful silver streaks (subtle, they'll stand out anyway) over the face %26amp; in the forehead area. What do you think?

the only concern i think you should have is the existing texture of your hair. curly or wavy hair is not easily going to be able to achieve that style w/out a flat iron and a load of styling products.
