Is it okay to not be emo and have emo hair?

I want to get an "emo-type style" haircut but I am not Emo. I hate labels but I don't want to be seen as a preppy poser basically who wants to be emo. I just love the hair.

So what are your opinions?

Who cares what people say. As long as your comfortable with you it should not bother you. I got an emo hair style and i am deffenitly not emo. Some people said it didnt suit me and i looked emo or w.e but i didnt really care :P. It's your hair do what you want dont let other peoples opionions get stuck in your head.

Personally, I don't like Emo style hair. But, if you want something different, go for it! Who cares what everyone thinks, just wear your normal clothes. Then, it will be kind of obvious that you don't want to be Emo, you just have the hair. I think you shouldn't dye your hair black, just keep it your natural color.
