Help! need ideas and pictures for my new scene/emo hair!!?

so right now i have light brown hair. my side bangs are about two inches from chin, and my length goes about four inches past my shoulders. sorry, no pics!! i have a ton of layers.

well im going to dye it a dark brown, but i need help on how to cut it. not to short, has to be cute, and defianately indie/scene/emo style. tank you! include pictures please on what you think is cute!!

Try a very choppy and layered look with highlights so they'll really pop in your new dark hair. If you want a little bit of an edge try some colored extensions! They come in all sorts of colors and when cut to blend with the choppiness and angles of your haircut look really amazing.
