Can i have an "emo" Hair style with long hair.?

I have sholder blade length hair and i want to do an emo hairstyle but dont want to cut my hair. Im not quite sure how it can be done.

Any ideas or is it not possible?

Usually "emo" hair is short in the back and long in the front, but i think you could probably look emo with long hair too. Dye your hair black if it isn't already and part your hair to the side so you have this fringe thing that kind of covers a part of one of your eyes.

"Emo" hairstyles are usually jet black short in the back long in the front with long bangs covering your right eye.

Kay well you do not have to majorly cut your hair, maybe you could get the ends of it alittle choppy and do short layers starting close to the crown of your head leading all the way down, once that is done poof the top a bit. hairspray iot and go! lotsa luck!
