I'm gonna be 21 soon, and have funky hair. Everbody else my age usually just has long straight hair that is a natural brown. I love my hair, but don't want to look like an old person trying to look young. When do you think a person is too old for emo or funky hair?

You're never too old for the hair that you want! You just need the right clothes and attitude to pull it off. Get a cut or style that suits your personality and stuff what everyone else thinks.

Being different is a blessing, not something you should worry about!

I think you're fine until you hit about 26-27 because your early 20's are like your "college years" and anything goes. I think when you start hitting your mid to upper 20's, people pursue their careers and they tend to be more professional or "grown up" because of jobs, kids, etc....and because of these things, they look older too. If you don't want to stand out, I guess change your look around then. But who cares anyway? I think it's great to see funky hair on all types of people!!
