It can look sexy, as long as it isnt too unusual. If you go for an emo hair style, try something a little understated. if your hair is somewhat fair, it wont look sexy if you dye it really black in my opinion.

A long fringe or bangs as they are sometimes called ( depending where you are from) swept to the side look sexy.

As long as the hair is short, and all about the fringe, and not overly dyed, or tinted in two different colours, then it can be sexy.
