i personally don't know any black guys with that hair but i'm sure there are plenty. my hair is kinda like that with the emo bangs.. i believe you would need to grow your hair out a certain length and perm it so it would be straight cut you some bangs and go for it..here is a site you can go to..

lol jus go to a saloon and get ur hair relaxed. then when its all straight and slick like a perm. tell them to give it an emo cutt. its nice to see someone bigger than racial bariers and dat good work with it :D

Well, let's see...I have absolutely no idea what a 'scurl' is, so I'll just have to assume that it's a kind of curl (I have never stepped in a hair salon in my life, so I don't know).

Emo hair, or at least the hairstyle, is usually straight with bangs or fringe over one side of the face, if I remember right. To do that, you'd probably need to straighten your hair and style it daily. Bear in mind that you might have to go to a beauty parlor to get it straightened and styled the first time, though. If you think it's worth the upkeep, go for it.

Flatirons kill your hair, though.
