Try getting layers if your hair is thick and curly, because it will look wayyy less poofy. More like curls, less like an afro. Try straightening just your bangs and leaving the rest of your head curly, unless you want to straighten your whole head.

okay cut the back so it short but not to short like a couple of cm. then get the front and angle it by cutting to an angle but make sure its all perfect like this kind of angle "/"

then straight it (the front and there u go
